Community Engagement Officer

Salary: £30,518 – £34,434 per annum (SCP 16–23)
Hours: 37 hours per week

Stotfold Town Council is seeking a proactive and creative Community Engagement Officer to lead on community and civic events, strengthen relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses, and enhance how the Council communicates and engages with the town.

This is a key delivery role within the Council’s Strategic Plan, translating priorities into visible, well-run events, effective engagement activity and clear communications. The postholder will also support the Community Engagement Committee and provide civic support to the Mayor.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the Council’s approach to engagement and make a meaningful impact on community life in Stotfold.

Town Ranger Supervisor

Salary: £35,412 – £39,152 per annum (SCP 24–28)
Hours: 37 hours per week

Stotfold Town Council is looking to appoint an experienced Town Ranger Supervisor to lead and develop the Council’s open spaces and public realm operations.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Town Rangers and contractors, ensuring parks, play areas, open spaces, allotments, cemetery grounds and street-scene assets are safe, well-maintained and welcoming. The role combines operational leadership with practical delivery and a strong focus on health and safety, standards and customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled supervisor to take on a visible, community-focused role and make a direct difference to the quality of public spaces across the town.
